Older Poetry

1.)
"What are those supposed to be?"
Asks a laugh-
Pointing a criticle chortle
At the smudged drawings
That peek from beneath embarassed hands.

"They're only scribbles... "
Replies a blush-
(But really he had done his best.)

2.)
Said the eagle to the fish
As he sped to splatter on a dinner-plate rock:
"Close your mouth, skydiver-
if you swallow a cloud, you'll never come down."

"Rituals, smituals!" Rejoined the fish,
"I am hooked on hope like you will never believe;
even a fish can learn to soar."

(The above are the personal works of Kelly Richardson)

These are great fun, with a delightful take on the English language.
